The Cyprus Institute will contribute in the field of source apportionment, specifically RT-SA using ACSM and absorption photometers. Cyprus offers a unique location, at the transboundary of pollution source areas with distinct features (Turkey, Middle East, Africa), and including it in the project will be beneficial for both parties. It also makes possible the completion of the imaginary line that crosses Europe from north (Finland) to south (Cyprus) passing through many east European countries. The Cyprus Institute's goal is to be transferred knowledge from RI-URBANS related to SA techniques, and contribute to publications.
