The instrumentation at the Geophysical Observatory in Racibórz in Poland has ACTRIS compliant sampling and drying setups and are placed in a measurement container. Moreover, there is a set of trace gas analyzers (NOx, O3 and SO2) operated on the station. The vicinity of the station in interesting for pollution studies as the region demonstrates an industrial-urban aerosol mixture with episodes of very high near-ground concentrations. Racibórz is situated near the Odra’s river break through the mountains to the Czech republic (called the Moravian Gate) that results in strong pollution advection between the countries.

The potential for RI-URBANS involvement focuses on being ACTRIS compliant data provider with capabilities of scientific analysis of the measurements, new solution testing, source appointment investigations, and station representativeness studies.
